We create a welcoming and encouraging opportunity for young musicians, elementary school age through high school, to grow, contribute, and develop their talents, with other like-minded students  from the Shoreline towns in central coastal Connecticut.

The Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra, Inc is comprised of two orchestras. 

Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra (SYSO) 

SYSO is a community youth symphonic orchestra composed of advanced high school age musicians from Connecticut. We play the great classical symphonic music as well as original contemporary compositions for orchestra. Our mission is to offer a high quality musical experience in orchestral playing for young musicians. 

Shoreline Youth Concert Orchestra (SYCO)

SYCO is a community youth symphonic orchestra composed of advanced middle school and intermediate high school age musicians from the Shoreline towns in central coastal Connecticut. We play a wide range of music to give musicians an introduction to the full orchestral experience.
